This tour will take you from the center to the southeast of traditional but also pre-Columbian Mexico, where the baroque architecture of colonial cities and pre-Hispanic civilizations are combined, notably the Mayan sites of Palenque in Chiapas, one of the most beautiful states of Mexico. Also, the Mayan sites of Uxmal and Chichén Itzá in Yucatan finishing your trip on the beautiful beaches of Cancun in the Mexican Caribbean!

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Mexico: Meet and greet at the Mexico City airport and transportation to the hotel.
  • Day 2: Mexico / Teotihuacan / Mexico: Visit to Teotihuacan, the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, and The Basilica of Guadalupe.
  • Day 3: Mexico / Xochimilco / Mexico: Visit the Museum of Anthropology, route to Xochimilco, return downtown, and visit the Zocalo (main square), the Cathedral, and the National Palace.
  • Day 4: Mexico / Villahermosa / Palenque: Departure to the airport to board the plane to Villahermosa. Continue and visit the famous Mayan site of Palenque.
  • Day 5: Palenque / Campeche: Road to Campeche, a colonial jewel with its cobbled streets, its churches, and houses of different colors but especially its walls.
  • Day 6: Campeche / Uxmal / Merida: Departure to Uxmal and visit the archaeological zone. Continuing our tour to Merida. Rest of the afternoon take a walk through the city center.
  • Day 7: Merida / Chichén Itzá / Cancun: Road to Cancun, on the way we will visit the Mayan archaeological site of Chichén Itzá.
  • Day 8: Cancun: Possibility of an extension in Cancun or Riviera Maya. Transfer out to the airport.
